Jogging for the Arts Thank You

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who
signed up to help at the Jogathon and helped make it such a successful event. A huge thank you goes to: Tony Picone, Ted Goyette, Hillary Sweet, Heather Bragga, Ellen Abelar, Tawni Pardue, Linda Feldbrugge, Debbie Collins, Denise Russo, Stacey Ely, Kimberly Grover, Katie Esche, Veronica Seitchick, Jennifer Spinelli, Dave Wardle, Cindy Evans, Christy Tall, Michelle Rossi, Lisa Bruce, Grandpa and Grandma Chapa, Kathleen DeFrancesco, Allysen Lanagan, Gabby Mackle, Kristin Witwam and last but not least Maria and Gayle in the office.

November Update

See's Candy is on sale now through November 17th. Order forms are going home this week with the children, Additional forms can be found in the school office. Delivery is expected around December 3rd, just in time for the holidays!

Put your organizational and spatial awareness skills to work! Room 27, the storage room for the school and the Parent Alliance needs to be cleaned out. Please contact Michelle Guzman, via the Rio Del Mar Parent Alliance email (riodelmar.pa@gmail.com) to let us know if you are available on a weekday or a Sat or Sun afternoon. We will schedule a date in the next couple of weeks, accordingly.

Drive for Schools Update

This year's Drive for Schools Fundraiser was a huge success! We increased our revenue by 400% over last year for a total received of $5837! A huge thank you to every parent who bought and/or sold tickets this year, for your wonderful support of our RDM school community. Your generosity and efforts are very much appreciated!

Rio Restaurant Day Fundraiser

Our first Rio School Restaurant Day will be at Quizno's in Aptos, October 25th and 26th, from 11am to 7pm.

Please support our school by having a meal (or two) on Restaurant day! Just tell the cashier that you are from Rio Del Mar School and a percentage of the total sales will be donated back to us.

Busy Fall News

Please come to the Parent Alliance meeting this Tuesday, October 14th, from 6:30-8 pm. The meeting location has been changed this month to room 12. Childcare is provided and will be in the lower Kindergarten classroom. Snacks (for the meeting and childcare) are provided. Attending a meeting is a great way to stay informed!

Our See's candy fundraiser is scheduled to run from November 3rd to 17th with an expected delivery date of about December 3rd.

Innisbrook orders are here! You can pick up your order in the cafeteria/MPR. Thank you again for making this such a successful fundraiser!
