MOVIE NIGHT JOINS RESTAURANT NIGHT

This Friday, May 21st is Rio's Outdoor Movie Night. Palm Deli will be providing sandwiches/salads/chips available for pick up at the school starting at 6pm that night. Order forms are attached, and were sent home with students on Monday, May 17th. Please fill out our order and return to your child's teacher with full payment no later than Wed. May 19th!. Be sure to make checks out to RDMPA and not the Palm Deli. More order forms can be obtained in the school office. Palm Deli will donate 20% of sales back to Rio Del Mar.

Bring your lawn chairs and your blankets to Outdoor Movie Night and have dinner waiting for you when you get there. What could be easier? Support our school...plan on having a picnic with the Palm Deli this Friday!

Our 8th annual event is only a few days away, but there is still plenty of time to sign up for the Golf Tournament. The weather predicted for Friday is great for golfing, and be honest, wouldn't you rather be on the greens than at work?

EVENT TIPS AND INFORMATION: Raffle, Online auction, Registration Forma

Raffle tickets came home in your child's backpack on Monday. The prizes this year are amazing! An Apple iPad, a FLIP video camera, and one week of Camp Seascape tuition! Return tickets to your teacher or in the office, and please return all unused tix to the office.

Early Bird registration ends Friday, April 30th and you can get your tickets for $60 per person. . After that, the ticket price goes up to $75.00 so get those forms in! They can be mailed or returned to the PA mailbox in the office.

Our fabulous online auction goes LIVE this Friday, April 30th at 5pm. A link to the auction website will be available on the RDM homepage. Check the website often as new items are constantly being added. The online auction will end May 14th.

We have a Crush on Rio Update

An incredibly fun evening was had by all at the We have a Crush on Rio fundraiser. Jeff and Adele Talmadge opened their beautiful home to us, and laid out tables of delicious tapas. Coupled with the outstanding premier Argentinean wines provided by Vino del Sol, the live music and the gorgeous weather, the evening was perfect!

Many, many thanks to the sponsors of this event, who donated all the proceeds back to the school. Jeff and Adele Talmadge (www.talmadgeconstruction.com), Thane Prichard (www.vinodelsol.com) and Rick and Beth Prichard. Through their generosity we raised $5,480!

Directions to the Talmadge Residence: 101 Day Valley Road

From Hwy 1: Exit Freedom Blvd, go East onto Freedom. Go 1 mile to Valencia Rd and turn left. Go another mile to intersection of Day Valley and Valencia, past Glaum Egg Ranch. Do not turn onto Day Valley. The driveway is on the right immediately past Day Valley Rd. If you pass the red house or see Cox Rd. you have gone too far. If you get lost, 689-9102.

Jogging for the Arts Friday March 5th

This healthy and very fun fundraiser raises all the money necessary to fund our Arts curriculum. Please sponsor your child's efforts and keep arts going at Rio! We need to raise $10,000 to keep the Arts alive!

We are asking for a donation of $25.00 per child.
